School Supply Drive
Collecting and providing school supplies to benefit local schools and students.
At Abiding Savior, outreach and mission work help us use the gifts God has entrusted to us for the good of neighbors near and far.
We believe every gift we have received is meant to bless others. Through local service, congregational participation, mission partnerships, food support, school supplies, seasonal giving, and emergency aid, Abiding Savior seeks to serve with compassion and faithfulness.
This ministry also reflects Jesus’ call in Matthew 28:19–20 to go and make disciples of all nations.
In June 2024, Abiding Savior partnered with United Servants Abroad in Peru for an exploratory mission trip.
The Peru exploratory trip gave ASLC an opportunity to witness God’s work in local communities, build relationships, and learn about future possibilities for mission participation.
Helping Hands uses budgeted funds and congregational participation to support local needs throughout the year.
Collecting and providing school supplies to benefit local schools and students.
Supporting Bread of the Mighty Food Bank and helping address food insecurity in the community.
Providing Christmas gifts for children through seasonal congregational generosity.
Offering occasional assistance with housing, utilities, food, or other urgent needs.
Meals of Hope is an annual food-packing event benefiting Bread of the Mighty, a local organization fighting hunger by providing nutritious meals to families in need.
Outreach and missions include both hands-on service and behind-the-scenes support. Some people give time. Some donate supplies. Some help plan. Some pray. Some give financially.
